Chipmunk - Nuisance or Saint?

The chipmunk, by its very nature of gathering food
for its survival plays a crucial role in seed dispersal
in the ecosystem. As he skitters through the forest
or backyard, he drops seeds, which eventually grow
and replenish plants and flowers and trees.

My cats always seem to find exceptionally wonderful
places to sleep. And you can tell because when
one finds a good spot, the other takes his or her place

is not limited to cats and dogs.

Michel-Ange patrols every corner of his family estate with care, making sure all his family and friends are well cared for and that all the blades of grass that are out of place are trimmed...who cares if it’s with his teeth in lieu of shears?

It often occurs to me while observing the rabbits in my yard that they are almost like little caretakers or diligent gardeners. Their reserved nature and watchful stare feels fastidious to me!

On her morning strolls, Matilda talks to the trees. Their confidence and strength remind her to bend with the wind when life gets tough, to know when it’s important to be silent and when to embrace the sun.

Whenever I walk through a nature trail with beautiful trees, their larger than life stature always imparts to me the wisdom of just remembering how to “be.”

Montrose and Alejandro are going on an adventure! Best friends since they were joeys, through the best and worst of times! They both like apricot jam and scones, nut paste of all kinds, swimming and collecting bugs. There are a FEW things that they can never agree on, though, which always ends up in horrifying fist fights and torn trousers!!! Someone always has to separate them. Fortunately Alejandro is excellent with a needle and thread. But…they always make up and apologize. This trip was actually a surprise from Montrose to Alejandro for a kerfuffle from a few weeks ago.

She has a wonderful antique thimble collection, can train a bonsai tree like a master, and can read your tarot with uncanny accuracy. Irresistible to others, she is the always the life of the party, but an utter enigma.

He has a sharp wit, a keen sense of the weather and has an extensive collection of antique marbles that he has donated to the best marble museums in the world. He keeps mostly to himself, but enjoys cooking, the apothecary arts, and organizing his vast library. The “Q” stands for Quizfiffle.
